Description

:iconhappywaveplz: Easter is comming up rather soon!

Couple of years ago I found the pattern for those lovely bunnys on a German forum - and I LOVE making them!

They´re to use for to hanging them into eastern flower arrangements (with some cherry or laburnum twigs - very much used for decoration at Easter times in Europe).

Or to sending them with the Easter greetings my mail....

I shall hanging them into the twids of a Ficus Benjamini plant in the stairhouse. So everyone will have a nice sight at it....

EDIT:

Okay, you want to have the pattern?

I don´t know if I was able to put it down in something that is even a tiny bit of usable.

If doeasn´t feel free to ask and maybe we´ll find a way out, okay?

Pattern for Easter Bunnys

Use a hook and yarn at your own joice about the size the bunny should have.

Make a chain with 5 stitches – close them to a ring. OR use a yarn loop so you won´t have a hole in the middle.

Now we will have our crochet´s in spirals.

1st round 16 double crochet
2nd round double each stitch = 32 double crochets
3rd round double each 2nd stitch = 48 double crochets

Then do 1 half double crochet, 1 single crochet and 1 slip stitch

HEAD:

Make 4 stitches AND IN THE SAME NEEDLE ENTRY POINT add 3 treble crochets

Then make 3 double treble stitches into the next ONE stitch of the pre-round.

Then make 1 treble stitch and 2 double crochets into the next ONE stitch of the pre-round.

Then make do 1 double crochet

After that do 1 half double crochet

After that do 1 single crochet.

EARS:

Make 17 stitches – and turn the bunny over (frontside is now the backside!).

Connect the stitches with the head with a slip-stitch into the next stitch.

Make 15 stitches and connect these stitches with the head with a slipstitch.

NOW TURN THE BUNNY OVER AGAIN (now the frontside IS the frontside again).

Make 20 half double crochets into the loop (15 stitches) and make slipstitch into to needle entry point of the slipstitch of the pre-round.

Now into the second loop (17 stitches) do 22 half double crochets and close it by making a single stitch into the stitch of the pre-round.

Work it tight here to get no holes or gaps.

Do 2 more slipstitches to let the row run out into the „body“

TAIL

Do 5 a chain of 5 stitches and close them to a ring.

Do 10 double crochets into the ring, finished with an slip-stitch.

Do let the body slip a little into the hole of the (folded) tail and sew it onto it.

For eyes use whatever you want to!
